Lo orgánico como elemento de creación plástica.

El interés de Mar Gasca Madrigal en el mundo orgánico, ha permeado de forma indiscutible su trabajo. De manera plástica ha estudiado desde las formas celulares de distintos organismos entre ellos hojas, flores, insectos, telarañas, caparazones, semillas, nidos, huevos –entre otros– pasando por las estructuras que los conforman hasta recorrer algunos de los distintos caminos que pueden existir para manipular dichos objetos e imágenes tanto formal como conceptualmente.

Toma a la gráfica como su disciplina artística madre, desarrollándose con mayor énfasis en la gráfica sobre metal con preferencia en la mezzotinta y en la mezcla de esta técnica tradicional fusionada con recortes sobre el mismo papel impreso, jugando con papeles pegados a tipo collage e interviniéndolas con acuarelas y tintas chinas para crear obra original sobre papel.

Mar Gasca Madrigal's interest in the organic world has undoubtedly permeated her work. In a plastic way she has studied from the cellular forms of different organisms including leaves, flowers, insects, cobwebs, shells, seeds, nests, eggs -among others- passing through the structures that make them up to go through some of the different paths that may exist to manipulate those objects and images formally and conceptually.

Takes graphics as her mother artistic discipline, developing with greater emphasis on metal graphics with preference in the mezzotint and in the mixture of this traditional technique fused with cutouts on the same printed paper, playing with collage-like paper and intervening them with watercolors and Chinese inks to create original work on paper.

2026 Ingresa como miembro a la Royal Society of Paiters-Printmakers, Londres, Inglaterra.
2025 Segundo lugar en la Octava Bienal Nacional de Gráfica Shinzaburo Takeda, MUPO, Oaxaca.
2024 Ingresa al Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte en la disiplina de Artes Visuales, especialidad en gráfica.
2023 Es invitada por el delegado de cultura y patrimonio Annick Lóllivier-Langlade a participar en la 21ª Bienal de grabado de Sarcelles, Francia en el Pabellón de México; y crea el sello editorial ALMAJARA. Así mismo, ingresa al sistema de Pago en especie de SHCP.
2021 Ingresa como miembro de la International Mezzotint Society I.M.S. Y participa en el programa Arte I Billete I Maculatura I Refines I Diseño del Museo del Banco de México en su V Edición, CDMX.
2020 Forma parte del jurado para las becas PECDA Veracruz y es tutora en la especialidad de gráfica.
2019 Recibe la beca Jóvenes Creadores FONCA 2019-2020, en la disciplina Artes Visuales, especialidad en gráfica y es seleccionada en el V Festival Internacional de Mezzotinta, Museo de Bellas Artes de Ekaterimburgo, Ekaterimburg, Rusia.
2016 Es seleccionada en el XXXVI Encuentro Nacional de Arte Joven, Aguascalientes.
2015 Recibe la Mención honorífica en la categoría de jóvenes creadores de la 1 Bienal de los volcanes, Fundación Noval, Cuernavaca, Morelos. Así mismo es seleccionada en la XI convocatoria de Arte Joven de la Fundación Arturo Herrera Cabañas, Pachuca, Hidalgo.
2009-2013 Trabaja en el Taller de gráfica La Siempre Habana, Cuernavaca, Morelos.
